Ghana’s senior national team, the Black Stars of Ghana have moved from 59th spot on the latest National FIFA rankings, moving a place below to occupy the 60th position following the March international break.
The four-time African champions were back in action last month for the first time since bowing out of the Qatar 2022 World Cup in the group phase under coach Otto Addo.
The team which now played under a new manager Chris Hughton managed a win and a draw in their doubleheader against the Palancas Negras of Angola in the third and fourth matches of the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifiers.
Perhaps , those performances were not enough good to drive the team up or even maintain their spot on the FIFA National rankings.
In Africa, while Morocco's National Team ranks number one, they sit 11th in the World rankings. Meanwhile, Ghana maintains their 11th spot in Africa behind the likes of Burkina Faso and Mali.
