The Ghana Black Stars who were defeated in their last group game against the south American side Uruguay by two goals to nil bowed out of the competition recording two defeats and one win in three games.
Coach Otto Addo who led the Ghana Black Stars in their play-off games against Nigeria to qualify for the biggest international football tournament said following the defeat in what was dubbed a revenge game for the 2010 hand ball incident with Luis Suarez in South Africa.
Reacting to coach Otto Addo’s resignation and Black Stars’ management quest to employ a new coach for the national team, sports journalist Super Obondede has made it emphatic that, the Black Stars’ technical director, Chris Hughton is wack and shouldn’t be considered for the vacant position of the Ghana Black Stars coaching role.
In the studios of Kumasi-based Light Fm, Super Obondede suggested that coach Hervé Renard, the current coach of Saudi Arabia, is the best choice to handle Ghana’s senior team as no one can intimidate him on the job compared to Chris Hughton.
