Klopp has made a request to the Liverpool hierarchy to sign Rennes forward Kamaldeen Sulemana, according to Spanish outlet El Nacional.
Nicknamed the 'Ghanian Sadio Mane', the 20-year-old joined the Ligue 1 side just last year from Nordsjaelland for a fee of €20 million, a Danish record.
Similarly to Mane, Sulemana is right-footed and can also right, left or centrally in attack but his main of position is on the left side of the front three.
The forward has scored once and provided two assists for Rennes so far this season. The Ligue 1 side could listen to offers starting from €30 million.
