Two Ghanaian Players Where listed To Bundesliga II Team Of The Season

Ghana's duo Daniel Kofi Kyere and Patrick Pfeiffer have been nominated for the Bundesliga II Team Of The Season for their outstanding performances. Daniel Kofi Kyere led St. Pauli on their promotion run this season but unfortunately, they couldn't get that promotion over there but he did marvelously for the club. Patric Pfeiffer plays for SV Darmstadt 98 which is also in the German Bundesliga II. As a defender, he has done marvelously for his club and deserved to be in the TOTS.
Kofi Kyere made huge contributions to his club bagging in 12 goals and giving out 10 assists. He was allowed to represent Ghana in the African Cup of Nations earlier this year. Unlike other teammates, the 26-year-old was consistent this season. Since St. Pauli has failed to progress to the 1st Division it is most likely that he would move to Borussia Monchengladbach or FC Freiberg as they are the two clubs after him.
Patric Pfeiffer missed 3 games for his club this season and it seems like a coincidence but his club lost all the matches he didn't play in. He was a big factor this season for his club this season with his strengths being in aerial duels and build-up plays. The team of the season was mostly dominated by Shalke 04 players as they were one club to qualify for the German Bundesliga.
